If you are a poker player who likes to keep abreast of what is happening in the poker world then your best read would be Poker Pro Magazine. I have been reading it for several months now and it really tells it like it is. Other poker mags have more ads and obligations to their contributers. This publications talks about the cheting scam that happened on an internet site that WAS advertising in their magazine. They talk about the history of poker with bios on the founding fathers of The W.S.O.P. There is a directory of card clubs, a hand ranking list and basic info for new players. I was really getting tired of “The Card Player”, but it did have a tournament schedule, which I like to keep up on. Although I am on the west coast and “Poker Pro” is on the east coast, it covers everything I enjoy reading with an up to date tournament schedule. Try it you’ll love it.
